katie and i have been playing with beeswax lately.....this is a little collage on canvas that I did!! gotta get katie to bring her beeswax collage back in so i can take a pic of it to post for everyone to see.....super duper cooool.

okay....so i know i promised i was going to be a better blogger, and haven't been....but i really am going to (new promise)!! well, this is our super cutteeee space in hallowell....did we mention that we lovvveeeee it here?? much more inspiring here surrounded by lovely art studios & galleries, antique stores, and fabulous eateries....mmmmm....slate's bakery : )

New Store Location!!!!

wooohooooo....we are finally in downtown Hallowell!!! We are soooo excited too....the store is so stinkin cute!! Tons of character, much better representation of who we are and the artistic direction we are moving the store into...total cutenessssss. And, I promise we are going to blog regularly now...no matter how crazy we are (and you know, we are a whole bunch of crazy!!) I will blog again this week with a few pics of the store and of some of the totally cute projects we have been working on.....you have to stop by!!!!!

So, here we are....our first post on our new blog!! I have to admit that I'm not very technologically advanced, so bare with me. I'm working on my photography/ scanning skills so we can download photos of our latest projects for you to see. I have discovered that it is a lot more difficult to take good pictures of a layout or mini book than it is to take a regular photo. Of course, you can always stop by the store to see, touch, flip, and prod any of our projects. Or just stop by if you find yourself in a papercrafting rut...we love to share ideas and new techniques!!

Halloween is over, but the scrapping is just beginning!! We have both of the new My Minds Eye Halloween lines, Spooked and Nightlight, for scrapping the night's events.

Just in.....Karen Foster 12" x 12" blank calendars (a great gift idea), also HUNTING, FOOTBALL, and HOCKEY paper and embellishments, as well as many other fun goodies. And for those of you who haven't been in yet to check out the LAUNDRY LINE by My Minds Eye.....gorgeous and we have it all (papers, chipboard pieces, stamps, ribbons, rub-ons, journaling tags, etc....)!!!

Soon to arrive.....A shipment from Fancy Pants Designs including the new DAILY GRIND line and many other awesome products!! And shortly after we will be getting their new Arctic Chill line.

There is still one week left to enter a layout for our IN STORE "CROPPER'S CHALLENGE".....this challenge is to create a layout using the Laundry Line. The deadline for entering is Saturday, November 15th. Customers will be able to vote for the winning entry from Monday, November 17th thru Saturday, November 29th. The winner receives a prize, usually a gift certificate or a basket of scrapbooking goodies!!
